A truth about SARDARS

Well, this is a true story.

One day, a group of friends were traveling in Delhi, they hired a taxi with a old Sardar as a driver.

Now to have some cheap fun, as it happens a lot, when you are in your teens and early twenties, they started narrating SARDAR ji jokes.

Some of them were in really bad taste.

The driver, heard this all with great patience, when the guys reached their destination, he took a 1 rupee coin and gave it to every one in the group and told them to give it to any Sardar beggar that they come across.

Till date, they all have that coin with them.

Because, they couldn't find a single Sardar beggar. :)

Fact is, even in my whole life, I have never seen any Sardar begging.

You can see them driving trucks, taxis, working in their GURUDWARAS ( community service ) BUT never begging.

In-fact, Sardars are one of the most prosperous communities in the world, and one of the primary reasons, according to me is, that they are willing to work with 100 % dedication.

This has really touched me.

And, I wanted to share it with you.

By the way, I still enjoy the SANTA BANTA and other Sardar jokes though. :)
